Description

This module looks at the multifactorial problems involved in helping the patient with weight management. Healthy eating programs will be reviewed along with genetic issues in helping the patient with weight loss. This course also surveys Anti-Aging and Functional Medicine approaches to integrative cancer therapies. Each drug that is prescribed causes at least two nutritional depletions which are responsible for some of the side effects seen in medication use. The participant will examine nutritional depletions caused by medications in this module. In addition, protocols for working with athletes will be elucidated. After attending this course, the participant will furthermore learn new therapies to wean patients off of hypnotic agents and anti-depressants.
