The A4M/MMI Weight Symposium focuses on the fundamentals of metabolism management and nutritional dietary guidance for sustained weight loss. The course will review protocols and practices designed to assist healthcare practitioners in practicing effective weight management for patients. Participants will be instructed in individualized weight management strategies, in addition to an overview of comprehensive weight loss skills and techniques—including a discussion of weight management as related to lipid testing and diabetes diagnosis. The final interactive session of the course will allow participants to collaboratively discuss pragmatic and practical aspects of weight loss programs, and the ways in which to effectively integrate health-centered components into their respective practices.
