    Paivi Shedd, MD, PhD, ABAARM, FAARFM practices anti-aging and preventive medicine at Health & Longevity, Helsinki, Finland. She is helping women and men suffering from hormonal imbalances achieve a better quality of life. She has extensive education; she received her MD in 1992 at Turku University (Finland), her PhD in 1994, did post-doctoral PhD research at The University of Adelaide and in Sydney, Australia in 1994-1996 and completed her specialist training in pediatrics at Helsinki University in 2000. After that she moved to the UK to practice as a NHS consultant until 2020. 

       Dr Paivi Shedd received her Anti-Aging Medicine training by A4M (American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine) in the USA. She is a Board Certified and Fellowship trained doctor in Anti-Aging, Regenerative and Functional Medicine.

       She has always been interested in natural medicine and trying to find and treat the root cause of a disease instead of masking the symptoms. Even her PhD study 20 years ago was about gastrointestinal health, how antibiotics effect on gut bacteria and disturb our general health. Natural Medicine has become her passion.
