Course Description
In this exclusive 3 ½-day seminar, listen to experts analyze the medical evidence surrounding BHRT, while learning from instructors actively practicing this specialty. Sessions will allow you to gain the information needed to safely and effectively merge BHRT into your practice. While the traditional medical view of aging focuses on its inevitable complications and steady decline in quality of life, this therapy functions as a means of relieving-and even preventing-many of these symptoms.

Kris Hart, MN, RN-C, FNP, Is the Associate Medical Director for California HealthSpan Institute in Encinitas, CA. Ms. Hart has a Master's Degree in Nursing with Family Practice Nurse Practitioner certification from UCLA. She currently is working in Family Practice, Emergency Medicine and Preventive/Regenerative Medicine. She has completed the Certification and Fellowship program in Preventive/Regenerative/ Functional medicine as an allied health professional. Ms. Hart's background in family practice, critical care and emergency medicine and natural hormone optimization is extensive.

Thierry Hertoghe, MD is the President of the International Hormone Society. Born in 1957 and he practices lifespan/reversing aging medicine and hormone therapy. He represents the fourth consecutive generation of physicians who have worked in the field of hormone therapy, where he practices medicine with a team of experienced doctors in Brussels. He is an internationally known authority in medical therapies oriented to correct hormone deficiencies, reduce aging or even on some aspects reverse aging and possibly extend lifespan.

MD, FMNM, ABAARM
Jennifer Landa, MD, FMNM, ABAARM, OB/Gyn specializes in helping women and men balance their hormones, restore their energy, and replenish their sex lives. At the heart of her practice is the belief that maintaining one’s health is hard work and she encourages her patients to make lifestyle changes that will result in increased health.
Dr. Landa’s focused, energetic, and straightforward style comes across well when she speaks in front of groups and on camera. She lectures nationally on preventive medicine and has appeared on national and local television. Dr. Landa just completed her first book with co-author Virginia Hopkins. Their book, The Sex Drive Solution for Women, is a no-nonsense approach to many of the sex drive issues that Dr. Landa addresses with her patients every day.
Rick Rhoads,
PharmD
Rick Rhoads, PharmD, received his Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Arizona. He is a clinical and patent care pharmacist with advanced experience in sterile and non-sterile compounding. Dr. Rhoads frequently is involved in new formula development for urological and functional medicine compounds. He is a frequent speaker in cosmeceutical science relating to signs of aging and menopause on the skin.

Ron Rothenberg, MD, is Clinical Professor and Course Director of Preventative and Family Medicine, University of California, San Diego School of Medicine. He is the author of Forever Ageless and has recently been featured in the University of California M.D. television series.
Pamela W. Smith,
MD, MPH, MS
Pamela Wartian Smith, M.D., MPH, MS spent her first twenty years of practice as an emergency room physician with the Detroit Medical Center and then the next twenty years as an Anti-Aging/Functional Medicine specialist. She is a diplomat of the Board of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Physicians and is an internationally known speaker and author on the subject of Metabolic, Anti-Aging and Functional Medicine. She also holds a Master’s in Public Health Degree along with a Master’s Degree in Metabolic and Nutritional Medicine.
She has been featured on CNN, PBS, and many other television networks, has been interviewed in numerous consumer magazines, and has hosted two of her own radio shows. She is a regular contributor for Fox News Radio. Dr. Smith is currently the Director of the Center for Personalized Medicine and the founder of The Fellowship in Anti-Aging, Regenerative, and Functional Medicine. Dr. Smith is also the co-director of the Master’s Program in Metabolic and Nutritional Medicine at the Morsani College of Medicine, University of South Florida. In addition, she is the Director of Medical Education for the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine. She is the author of the best-selling books, “HRT: The Answers,” “Vitamins Hype or Hope,” “Demystifying Weight Loss,” “What You Must Know About Vitamins, Minerals, Herbs & More,” “What You Must Know about Women’s Hormones,” “Why You Can’t Lose Weight.,” and “What You Must Know About Memory Loss and How You Can Stop It,” “What You Must Know About Thyroid Disorders,” and “What You Must Know About Allergy Relief,” of which she is a co-author. Her newest book: “What You Must Know About Autoimmune Diseases,” is scheduled to come out this fall.
