Theresa Burick, DO, FACP

Dr. Theresa Burick is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, and practices as an outpatient internist in primary care and concierge medicine with a slant on preventative medicine and anti-aging medicine. Dr. Burick started her career in medicine as a young girl working with her father, a surgeon, in his office witnessing and learning the art of medicine, from physical exam to diagnosis to creating the relationship with a patient. She completed her undergraduate training in Philadelphia at La Salle University followed by medical school at the Philadelphica College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1993. She completed her internal medicine residency training at the Penn State University, Hershey Medical Center in 1997. After years in traditional practice, attending patient in the inpatient and outpatient setting, she opened the first Concierge Medical Practice in the greater Harrisburg Area in 2008, The Burick Center for Health and Wellness. Over the years Dr. Burick has come to appreciate what patients value in their medical care, specifically, advocacy, pro-active rather than reactive care and an emphasis on Health and Wellness.

After attending numerous conferences for regenerative therapies and anti-aging, Dr. Burick expanded her knowledge and practice, now offering a complement of impactful therapies within the practice for both members and nonmembers. These include Intravenous Therapies, Bioidentical Hormone Therapy, Ozone therapies, Prolozone therapies, PRP, Ketamine infusions for treatment resistant depression, Presso lymphatic therapy, therapeutic medical massage, and acupuncture. We offer an array of functional and traditional lab testing which helps us to better serve our patients and provide treatment plans to address their underlying concerns and issues. Appreciating the value of this style and quality of care, The Burick Center for Health and Wellness continues to expand and now offers consultations in functional medicine, primary care, executive health services and more. Dr. Burick and her team consisting of two other physicians, RN’s and administrative staff are continuing to change health care in central PA and change the face of medicine for all who chose to experience our practice.
