Dr. Snowy Tan is a board-certified Naturopathic Doctor and certified functional medicine practitioner licensed in the states of CA and WA. Her practice is focused on the treatment of chronic pain, chronic complex, neurodegenerative and autoimmune disorders. Some of these conditions include tick-borne diseases like Lyme and Bartonella, Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, ALS, autoimmune thyroid disease, type 1 diabetes mellitus, inflammatory bowel disease, and PTSD, among others.Each of her patients receives a personally-tailored program that draws on the best of conventional and natural medicines that address the root causes of their illness. These solutions may span simple fundamentals such as nutrition, herbs and lifestyle modifications, to cutting-edge solutions such as bioidentical hormone replacement, intravenous and ozone therapies, regenerative injections, light and frequency therapies, as well as functional brain retraining exercises. Where necessary and helpful to the patient, pharmaceutical drugs are also utilized to provide optimal efficacy.Dr. Tan believes that disease is the culmination of many different factors including genetic predisposition, nutritional deficiencies, gut dysbiosis, chronic infections, environmental toxic exposure, and stressful life events, among others. She takes pride in working with each individual to uncover and resolve these factors to facilitate holistic healing and restore health.Dr. Tan received her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University in Kenmore (WA), and her residency training at Gordon Medical Associates. She has undertaken extensive formal postgraduate medical training in the United States.
