Dr. Flip’s goal is to help his patients lead healthy, happy lives filled with boundless energy, restful sleep, increased mobility, less pain, clear thinking and great vitality.

A comprehensive analysis is done to identify key problems and then an individually tailored plan is developed.

To do this he uses a systems biology approach which considers each person’s biochemical uniqueness, genetic factors, environmental exposures, toxins, nutritional status, sleep patterns, stress levels, support systems, and exercise habits.  He is not interested in simply using medicines to mask symptoms of underlying issues but constantly strives to unearth and address the problem’s root cause.

Dr. Flip practiced Emergency Medicine for 27 years but found that to address the overwhelming number of chronic inflammatory diseases that affect most of us as we age a different approach was needed. He is a fellow in the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M) and has been practicing Integrative Medicine for the last 5 years.

To keep up with the rapidly developing and amazing new advances in both Standard and Functional Medicine he is currently pursuing a Master’s of Science/Fellowship degree in Integrative Medicine at George Washington University.
