I provide internal medicine care with an emphasis on longevity and metabolic health. My aim is the discovery and correction of the root causes driving the degradation of function, development of disease and acceleration of poor aging. My focus areas include the following:
prevention or management of chronic disease (heart disease, hypertension, diabetes, kidney disease, liver disease, neurocognitive decline); improvement and maintenance of function (strength, mobility, cardiovascular fitness) as we age; autoimmune disease; obesity medicine; military medicine; athlete health optimization; and full spectrum men’s health (incl. hormone replacement).
My approach includes long-form discussion to analyze genetics, sleep, diet, exercise, environmental exposures, stress and prior medical history. We will personalize labs and imaging based on your medical concerns and goals. Management includes modulation of behaviors, targeted supplementation and pharmaceutical treatment when indicated.
