Greta McLaren, MD

Dr. McLaren is the founder and owner of “Skin Secrets by Dr. McLaren” where her philosophy is that “only your doctor will know for sure…” She believes that aesthetic enhancement should always look “Very Natural”. Dr. McLaren has been able to achieve natural looking results through extensive training and years of experience in the field aesthetic medicine.

She has enhanced her talent by taking up an interest in art and photography. Learning to draw the human face and body and taking sculpting classes have allowed her to achieve a more artistic view for creating the beautiful face and body with Laser and filler anti-aging facial procedures and Liposculpting body procedures.

A Denver native and an assistant clinical professor for the prestigious University of Colorado, Dr. McLaren received her board certification in family medicine in 1992 and holds an advanced degree from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center.

Dr. McLaren entered the field of aesthetic medicine over 10 years ago when it was in its infancy. She was one of the first physicians to offer Botox and Laser treatments in the Denver area and developed the first aesthetic clinic for the University of Colorado in Lone Tree, CO where she served as medical director overseeing a five physician practice.

Dr. McLaren has undergone extensive training in both cosmetic dermatology and laser surgery. She is a laser Surgeon and aesthetic medicine specialist who is considered an expert and has been invited to teach her aesthetic skills nationally to other physicians throughout the United States. She is a member of the American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery, American Society for Photodynamic Therapy.

She has been asked to appear on Martino TV to give her expert advice on the latest trends in Cosmetic Procedures for 2010, and has been interviewed for her medical knowledge of acne and laser anti-aging procedures by several news affiliates and has appeared on television segments aired on ABC, NBC, Fox 31 and KWGN.

Dr. McLaren makes sure her clinic stays ahead of the curve in the growing body of skin care knowledge by incorporating new technologies into her spa techniques and service offerings. In the past year alone, the advancements in the effectiveness, safety, comfort, and speed of laser and aesthetic technology have been extraordinary. Dr. McLaren has a true passion for medical aesthetics and devotes her practice full time to only this field of medicine. This concept allows her the opportunity to continually analyze the latest research on aesthetic and laser technologies and apply appropriate ones to our practice.
