I began my career as a physician in 2010, shortly after I finished I realized how much of our patients symptoms and illness were related to their lifestyle, and how little, we as physicians, really adressed the issue. So I decided to study a Masterse Degree in Nutrition and Human Dieteics in Barcelona, Spain. While studying human nutrition I learned about imnunonutrition and how we could affect our general health with lifestyle interventions, a proper diet and supplementation.I finished my masters degree with the highest qualification, and returned to my country, where I began my private practice in San Jose. I attended a seminar about antiaging medicine, and found exactly what I knew, would be the solution, I wanted for my patients. I began to study modules (I-V), IV nutrition and shortly afterwards I became a mom. My baby boy, had been diagnosed multiple food allergies and I had to be faced with the challenges of what elimination diets and restrictions were for both me and my patients, this led me to truly understand my patients and how I could help them. This is when I began to focus my practice on our microbiome, allergies and how we can use our food aand supplementation to boost our health and have excelent results in all kinds of disease. I blend the approaches of traditional medicine with diets and proven natural therapies to help my patients who suffer from chronic fatigue, IBS, hormone imbalances, difficulty in weight loss and sustaining weight loss. I am an fitness and cook enthusiast, I greatly enjoy training and my goal is to help educate my patients, improving their general health. I teach them how to cook and use their food as medicine, because health begins in everybody's kitchen.
