David Arthur R.Ph

Clinical Pharmacist – B.Pharm (Wits), MPS, ABAAHP Diplomate, Board Certified (American Board of Anti-Aging Health Practitioners)

David practises at the Centre for Integrative Medicine, where his main focus is to get to the root cause of disease and illness. One of his areas of interest is the relationship between emotional and physical health, and he specialises in devising personalised treatment plans that address all aspects that contribute to wellness. David has extensive medical experience and understands the benefits of conventional medicine, as well as the harm it can cause in the body. Having recently completed an international module on prescribing compounded mixtures, he knows how to use natural supplements as alternatives to prescription medicine and how to combine natural and prescription medicine to reduce the side effects often associated with conventional therapy. Another area of interest for David is anti-aging medicine. He is an advanced fellow and diplomate in Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine with the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, and is the first Clinical Pharmacist in South Africa to be board-certified by the American Academy for Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine. Acutely aware of the influence that nutrition has on overall health, he completed a Nutrigenomics course with the Department of Human Nutrition at Wageningen University, Netherlands, linking genomics, nutrition an correct lifestyle. He is currently finishing off his diploma in Sexology Studies
