Description

Our upcoming Clinical Endocrinology Fall Symposium will take place in Nashville, Tennessee. This new first-time location offers attendees an opportunity to take part in the historic and legendary city's famed music scene, cultural attractions, and celebrated dining establishments. The exclusive 3-day seminar will allow participants to integrate and implement BHRT protocols into practice upon return to the office Monday morning, while enjoying the sites and attractions of Nashville.

Learning Objectives

  • Review Hormone Replacement for Women
  • Identify the clinical signs and symptoms of Hypothyroidism
  • Review Insulin Resistance and the prevention of Type II Diabetes
  • Assess laboratory tests: Blood, Saliva and Urine
  • Discuss cortisol levels effect on balanced hormones
  • Evaluate cortisol levels and circadian rhythm
  • Evaluate Andropause, Testosterone Treatment and monitoring
  • Identify adequate HRT and improving sexual function
  • Understand the effects of growth hormone deficiency
  • Discuss the benefits of HRT and the Cardiovascular system
  • Evaluate HRT with neuro-psychopathology in traumatic brain injury
  • Understand nutritional depletions caused by medications and how hormones are affected
  • To provide a brief review of thyroid hormone physiology
  • To guide through clinical and laboratory evaluation of autoimmune thyroid disease as well as utilization of ultrasound imaging
  • To review the underlying autoimmune processes and the presentation of autoimmune thyroiditis through case presentations
  • To discuss approaches to optimal thyroid health with a focus on the gut and nutrition
