Russell Cooper, MD, ABAARM
Dr. Russell Cooper’s CV extends across many disciplines of complementary medicine. He graduated at the University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg in 1981 being awarded an MBBCH, and worked as a senior medical officer in multiple disciplines of medicine in South Africa and England from 1982-1984.
In 1987 he was a Registrar in Emergency Medicine at Launceston General Hospital Tasmania.
In 1988 Dr. Cooper commenced a fulltime integrative practice in Hobart, Tasmania.
In 1993 he built Anubha Mountain Health Retreat in Fern Tree in the hills around Mt. Wellington near Hobart which continues to be a progressive and nurturing center for patients seeking a complementary approach for physical and spiritual wellbeing in Tasmania and Australia.
He has been awarded Australiann Fellowships in:
- Nutritional & Environmental Medicine (FACNEM)
- Herbal Medicine (FACoHM) and Acupuncture (FAMAC)
- He has achieved Board Certification of the American Board of Anti-Aging and Regenerative Society of Anti-Aging Medicine and is certified in Chelaton Therapy through ACAM
- Dr. Cooper was the medical consultant of Genecare pharmaceuticals in 2011 and international Medical Advisor for Genosense Diagnostics in Vienna from 2006-2012
- He was the medical consultant of SciGen pharmaceuticals in Australia from 2005-2010
- In 2013 Dr. Cooper was awarded (MSc Preventive Medicine) degree at Dresden International University
- Dr. Cooper has lectured extensively on Anti-Aging Medicine especially bio-identical hormone replacement therapy and Genetics and nutrigenomics in Australia and internationally.
