Dr. Phyllis Okereke practices integrative and preventive medicine as Medical Director of BodyLogicMD of Houston. Dr. Okereke treats women and men with individualized wellness programs tailored to address each patient's specific, personal needs. Using a combination of integrative therapies, including customized nutrition and fitness regimens, pharmaceutical-grade supplementation, stress reduction techniques and natural bioidentical hormones replacement therapy (BHRT), Dr. Okereke helps to restore her patients' energy levels, improve their mental clarity and help them improve their overall health.
Dr. Okereke transitioned into integrative and functional medicine to treat her patients using pre-emptive techniques to help them live the best life possible. Instead of using prescription drugs to treat a constellation of symptoms, Dr. Okereke helps her patients correct the underlying issues at their source. Dr. Okereke is a firm believer in the notion that the changes brought on by aging can be avoided with a well-balanced lifestyle.
Phyllis Okereke, M.D. earned her medical degree from the University of Nigeria in 1975. After completing her internship, Dr. Okereke fulfilled her Residency in Ophthalmology in 1984. She is an active member of several professional medical organizations, including the Royal College of Ophthalmologists and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons. Dr. Okereke is also recognized as an active member of the American Academy of Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine. Dr. Okereke currently serves as Board Examiner for the American Board of Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine.
