Melvin Nario MD HMD ABAARM, Bio Integrative Health Center International Clinic
Dr. Melvin Nario, a recognized practitioner in integrative medicine with almost 10 years of experience with a strong foundation in holistic care. Raised in the Philippines, he earned his medical degree from the University of Santo Tomas and had his family medicine background at the University of North Dakota. As a homeopath, he received his diploma from the British Institute Of Homeopathy.
After several years in conventional practice, Dr. Nario encountered personal health challenges, including fatty liver disease and obesity, which led him to explore holistic alternatives. Through integrative therapies that combined traditional and alternative approaches, he achieved significant health improvements. This transformative experience fueled his commitment to integrative medicine.
Dr. Nario expanded his expertise by obtaining a Homeopathic Medical Doctor (HMD) license in Nevada, where he now serves as Vice President of the Nevada Homeopathic Board. His approach integrates homeopathy, energy medicine, nutrition, chelation and IV therapy, and bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT), combining conventional and alternative modalities to provide comprehensive patient care.
Currently based in Reno, Nevada, Dr. Nario is the former Medical Director of Bio Integrative Health Center International Clinic and is a visiting physician in the Forsythe Cancer Center and Clearfield Medical Group. His focus is on holistic, patient-centered care that addresses the mind, body, and spirit. As a passionate educator, Dr. Nario is a junior faculty member and a board certified fellow at the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine and frequently speaks at conferences. He also co-leads a weekly webinar for U.S. integrative health practitioners in collaboration with the American Osteopathic Society of Integrative Medicine, educating them on advancements in integrative medicine.
Also licensed as a physician in the Philippines and regularly visits various clinics, where he provides integrative interventions. Additionally, he is a member of the Philippine Regenerative and Integrative Medical Association, which focuses on training and developing integrative physicians in the Philippines.
