Lynese Lawson, DO, FAARFM, ABAARM

Dr. Lynese Lawson is a graduate of Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery. She has 20 years of medical experience in the field of anesthesiology and is a board certified anesthesiologist. As a result of being directly involved with thousands of surgical procedures, Dr. Lawson became very knowledgeable about chronic disease and began to research how the medical community could best serve its patients. Her desire to implement strategies that focus on disease prevention and wellness inspired her to pursue fellowship training in Anti-Aging and Functional Medicine.

Dr. Lawson is currently the medical director of ProActiv Wellness Centers, PLC which serves northern Virginia, Washington, D.C. and Maryland. ProActiv Wellness Centers, PLC is an affiliate of The Center for Healthy Living & Longevity (www.cfhll.com), a national practice of Anti-Aging physicians, founded by Dr. Pamela W. Smith, M.D., MPH. Her anti-aging practice combines a detail oriented consultation with a diagnostic and treatment plan that is a customized approach to the patient?s condition. The plan often includes bio-identical hormone therapy guided by the most accurate labs available. Dr. Lawson also provides her patients with a unique approach to weight loss, intestinal problems, blood sugar regulation, cholesterol management and many other medical conditions.
