Dr. Stegall is a specialist in integrative oncology who believes that optimal cancer treatment utilizes the best aspects of conventional medicine as well as natural/alternative medicine in a personalized approach.
He earned his bachelor’s degree from Clemson University, graduating with honors, followed by a master’s degree in physiology from Georgetown University. His master’s program was followed by a research internship at Harvard Medical School’s Osher Center for Integrative Medicine. While at Harvard, he conducted research on the doctor-patient relationship. He earned his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina, followed by an internal medicine residency through the Yale University School of Medicine, with clinical training at Greenwich Hospital in Greenwich, CT, as well as Yale New Haven Hospital in New Haven, CT.
Dr. Stegall has completed a fellowship in Integrative Oncology through the Metabolic Medical Institute. He holds memberships in several organizations, including the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), the Society for Integrative Oncology (SIO), the International Organization of Integrative Cancer Physicians (IOICP), and the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M).
He is also a bestselling author, speaker, and podcast host.
