Wendi Harper-Lonabaugh, APRN, DNP, FNP-C, MSN, RRT

Wendi started her undergraduate career at Drexel University in Philadelphia. She ended up choosing the field of medicine after graduating and went on to get a degree in respiratory therapy and in nursing. She worked for years in pediatric critical care. She received her Master’s (MSN) as a Family Nurse Practitioner, and later her Doctor of Nursing Practice. She has been published in the Journal of Aesthetic and Plastic Nursing (2023). Both her master’s Thesis and Doctoral Project are published and available through ProQuest and open access.

She moved from critical care to medical aesthetics. Her background in design made the transition to facial aesthetics very intuitive. The opportunity to work with a very large number of patients in a small amount of time fine-tuned her skill at natural-looking filler placement. Her excellent results drew the attention of a national aesthetics company who positioned her to become a physician trainer. In that role, and as an independent trainer, Wendi has trained over 1000 providers nationally, primarily in dermatology and plastic surgery offices. She is still a national trainer but has limited her training schedule. She is still available for injectable training (Physicians, RN’s, FNP’s, PA’s, and Dentists where permitted) which can be scheduled by calling her office: 828- 551-2442.

Wendi is currently building her patient base at her own practice, SkinOvation Advanced Aesthetics. This also serves as a training center for individuals who want to learn or advance their aesthetic injection skills. When Wendi isn’t treating patients she is trainer the aesthetic superstars of the future.
