Description
As a Board-Certified Family Physician, my passion has always been in health promotion and disease prevention. I enjoy sharing with my patients the strategies to follow in order to be healthy enough to not need medications, or to be able to get off them. I particularly enjoy assisting patients in finding the motivation and strength to improve their health.
I have a special interest in natural family planning, and have been certified as a Medical Consultant for the Creighton Model FertilityCare System, and Creighton's medical applications, NaProTechnology. As part of my commitment to education, I have participated in fertility awareness conferences for first year medical students at Georgetown University Medical School. As an Assistant Professor at George Washington University, I have mentored medical students in my private practice, in an effort to present family medicine as a specialty of high value and positive impact in modern medicine.
The next frontier in medicine is definitely in the areas of anti-aging and regenerative medicine. I intend to dive in these wholeheartedly, to be able to offer care that is more holistic, individualized and different from traditional mainstream medicine, in the name of honoring and applying the most recent scientific advances in health care.
