Valerie Richards, PharmD, FAzPA

Valerie Richards is the Director of Clinical Services at Strive Pharmacy, with over 20 years of experience spanning community pharmacy, medication therapy management, immunizations, and disease state management. Her recent work includes research initiatives, publications in Pharmacy Times, and coordination of clinical case reports. Valerie currently serves as President of the Arizona Pharmacy Association and was honored as the organization’s 2025 Pharmacist of the Year, in addition to being named a Fellow for her contributions to the profession. She also serves as Vice President of the Board of Directors for the Arizona Academy of the Performing Arts.

An Arizona native, Valerie earned her undergraduate degree in Communication from Arizona State University and her PharmD from Midwestern University in Glendale. She splits her time between Arizona and Utah with her husband, Burrell, and their dogs, Charlie and Mika, and enjoys travel, live music, and cheering on Arizona sports teams.
