Trish Hurford, MD, MS
Patricia Hurford, MD is Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. A distinguished member and leader in several Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation organizations, Dr. Hurford’s practice focuses on the non-operative management of spine, sports, work and accident related musculoskeletal injuries. Dr. Hurford utilizes the most advanced techniques in interventional pain management and pharmacologic therapy to help patients return to work, and a better, and more active life.
Dr. Hurford attended the University of Missouri, Kansas City where she received her Doctorate of Medicine as well as Bachelors Degrees in Biology, Chemistry, and Political Science (1992).
Dr. Hurford completed her Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Internship and Residency at the prestigious Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. During her residency she specialized in musculoskeletal medicine, pain management, invasive skills, sports medicine, electro-diagnostic medicine, and the outpatient management of chronic disabilities and medication management. In addition to a love for Physical Medicine, Dr. Hurford has a deep passion for Sports Medicine, even completing a Masters Degree in Sports Medicine from Georgia State University.
In her personal time Dr. Hurford enjoys relaxing with her family on their sail boat, where she is an accomplished captain with a certification from the American Sailing Association. When not enjoying the water, Dr. Hurford dedicates her time to Mission trips to the nation of Haiti where she provides her services at free health clinics and underserved areas.
