One of the most difficult problems facing clinicians is where to begin with very complicated patients. This seminar will focus on the most complex type of patients that the participant will encounter.

This workshop has been created to fill gaps of knowledge, and to assist in transitioning the practitioner from a protocol driven treatment system to scientifically based treatment modalities, that are designed to provide customized care to patients.

objectives

  • Learn the interaction between different hormones in the body and to better understand how to manage a complicated hormone patient
  • Recognize that some patients with hormonal issues may have other medical problems treated before their hormonal complaints can be addressed
  • Recognize the importance of a neurological diagnosis having multifactorial etiologies and hence multifactorial therapies
  • Learn psychological overlays commonly play a major role in the complicated patient
  • Learn that nutritional depletions caused by medications may be causing some of the patient’s complaints
