Susannah Kerwin is an Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner trained in functional medicine by the Institute for Functional Medicine. She holds degrees from the University of San Francisco and New York University. Susannah has been helping patients define and realize their best health for more than twenty years. She is the owner of Tendwell, a functional medicine practice located in Denver, CO. She uses cutting edge functional medicine techniques with her patients to not only address root causes of chronic dysfunction, but to optimize health, all while keeping patients at the center and working collaboratively. Tendwell patients access advanced genetic, hormone and other testing to pinpoint issues often overlooked in traditional medical practices. In terms of treatment modalities: Susannah prioritizes nutritional and other non-pharmaceutical approaches and considers her patients as whole persons, not just lists of symptoms to be plugged into treatment algorithms. The results speak for themselves. Tendwell patients consistently rate themselves healthier, happier and more satisfied.
