Dr. Smita Kargutkar completed her MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) from the prestigious Seth G. S. Medical College and K.E.M. Hospital in Mumbai. After moving to the USA, she completed her residency in internal medicine at Monmouth Medical Center, NJ, and became the first fellow in endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, PA. After working for a brief period with Barnabas Health Medical Group, Dr. Kargutkar started her endocrinology practice, ACE Endocrinology Associates, in 2016. But her passion for alternative medicine led her to pursue fellowship training in Integrative and Functional Medicine by the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M). Phoenix Health and Wellness LLC is her integrative/functional, anti-aging, and aesthetic medicine practice, which is her true passion. She combines allopathy, Ayurveda, homeopathy, naturopathy, and holistic medicine to bring the best results for her patients. She wants to go beyond the boundaries of traditional medicine and find answers for the diseases that are insurable right now.
