Sara Hover, RPh

Sara Hover, RPh, FAARM, joined the PCCA Clinical Services team June 2013, and was promoted to manager of clinical services in 2021, director in 2023 and senior director in 2025. As a clinical compounding pharmacist for PCCA, she has the opportunity to share all of her knowledge of compounding with pharmacists all over the US and Canada. PCCA has always provided her as a pharmacist/business owner with the tools to succeed. Now on the other side of the fence as a team member of PCCA, she is honored to continue this superior service to other PCCA members. Sara loves to educate pharmacists and physicians on a variety of topics including women’s health, hormone replacement and compounding options to improve patient’s lives.

She spent 20 years practicing pharmacy as a PCCA member with 10 years of that as a pharmacy owner. She learned a lot about pharmacy and compounding from her earlier experiences and a lot about starting and running a business from the latter experience. She started Creative Compounds in Prosper TX which was an independent compounding-only pharmacy that focused on women’s health and nutrition where she surrounded herself with great people, which made this pharmacy a success. Sara obtained a Bachelor of Science from the University of Texas at Austin in 1994. She is a lifetime member of the University of Texas College of Pharmacy Alumni Association. She is a wife and proud mother of 3 children that are grown or almost grown with a couple still on the payroll. 2024 was a big year for Sara that came with a new title - MoMo… as she became a grandmother. Her sweet little grandson has her completely wrapped around his tiny fingers.
