Sameh Hana, MD

Dr. Sameh Wagih Hana (MBChB/MD), is a Consultant in Cardiology and Internal Medicine who had been Graduated from Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University with more than 25 years’ experience working in major heart institutes and Coronary Care Units among Military Hospitals of Ministry of Defense in Egypt. Dr.Sameh is caring with great passion for his patients specially the elderly people who need extra care physically and psychologically. As part of his interest to explore the world of Dyslipidemia, Dr.Sameh, Served as Project Lead and Co-Author of global Dyslipidemia International Study (DYSIS) which earned nearly a dozen of Global, regional, and local publications

He demonstrated solid leadership for more than 5 years as Head of Therapeutic Committee for Chronic Diseases / Ministry of Defense / Egypt

Dr. Sameh was engaged in fruitful scientific collaboration with major medical societies among Middle East Africa countries to conduct valued regional registries regarding Acute Coronary Syndrome / STEMI / NSTEMI

Also, Dr. Sameh gained mixed experience as regional Director of Medical Affairs, among major health affiliates in Europe, Russia, Africa & Middle East to direct, mentor, and empower high-performing team in analyzing, formulating, and shaping regional medical affairs strategies as per country needs through foster scientific partnerships with thought leaders to establish and leverage valuable scientific medical digital platforms. Dr. Sameh is always giving support for local, regional & global research, studies, registries, observation programs, and protocols development. He is extremely well-versed in wide range of diseases and conditions encompassing High risk patients in terms of Myocardial Infarction, Heart Failure, Dyslipidemia, Hypertension, Thrombosis, Arrhythmias, Diabetes Mellitus & Ischemic heart disease. Also, Dr.Sameh is adept at conceiving, designing, and executing public awareness and educational programs to promote cardio-metabolic health, vaccines, and immunology among Gulf and Middle East region.

Dr. Sameh has membership (ACC), (ESC),(EAS)& Egyptian Society of Cardiology. He has active Scientific Collaboration with the following Societies:

American College of Cardiology, European Society of Cardiology, European Atherosclerosis Society, Emirates Cardiac Society, Gulf Heart Association, Cardio-Egypt and Cardio-Alex. On the social level, Dr. Sameh is writing novels with highly influencing public page on FB which is currently followed by more than 100,000 followers.
