Sahar Swidan, PharmD

Dr. Swidan is President & CEO of NeuroPharm and former CEO of Pharmacy Solutions. She serves as Adjunct Associate Professor of Clinical Research and Leadership at the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences, and Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor of Pharmacy at Wayne State University.

She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree and completed a three-year research fellowship in Biopharmaceutics and Gastroenterology at the University of Michigan. Following her fellowship, she served as Director of Pharmacy at Chelsea Community Hospital and as the clinical pharmacist for the inpatient Headache and Chronic Pain Service, building an early career at the intersection of complex therapeutics, clinical research, and real-world patient outcomes.

Dr. Swidan is board certified, an advanced fellow in anti-aging and regenerative medicine, and an internationally recognized speaker in pain management, headache medicine, and hormone optimization (HRT). She has authored book chapters, peer-reviewed articles, and patient education resources focused on personalized medicine and the clinical management of head and general pain syndromes.

Most recently, Dr. Swidan contributed as an author to Metabolic Therapies in Orthopedics, Second Edition, which explores how optimizing metabolic pathways can improve regenerative outcomes through emerging technologies, integrative strategies, and clinical evidence from over 30 expert contributors. Her work highlights drug-related muscular pain, sarcopenia, and the impact of hormones on musculoskeletal function and recovery.

Dr. Swidan also co-edited and authored Advanced Therapeutics in Pain Medicine, featuring global thought leaders and delivering practical frameworks that expand the clinician’s toolbox for complex pain syndromes. Her latest release, co-authored with Dr. Matthew Bennett, MD, is Mastering Chronic Pain—a clinically actionable, systems-based guide designed to help clinicians move beyond symptom suppression toward durable, root-cause pain recovery.
