The American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine’s fall 2014 event line-up features industry leading pioneers and experts

Thousands of medical practitioners will gather for symposiums, Fellowship modules, board certification exams and A4M’s largest world congress featuring the highest medical education led by the industry’s leading pioneers and experts

July 22, 2014 (Boca Raton, FL) – The American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M) is excited to announce the upcoming fall educational calendar including five events spanning over the next four months.

Kicking off the schedule is A4M’s largest symposium taking place September 10-13 th in Phoenix, AZ. This Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy Symposium will feature experts who have successfully integrated BHRT into their practices including Eric Braverman, MD; John Grasela; Kris Hart, MN, FNP, RN-C; Thierry Hertoghe, MD, president of the International Hormone Society; Jennifer Landa, MD, OB/GYN, FAARFM, director of A4M’s Sexual Health Certification; Ron Rothenberg, MD; Pamela W. Smith, MD, MS, MPH, director of the Fellowship in Anti-Aging, Regenerative and Functional Medicine; and Jonathan V. Wright, MD. This event will highlight practical case studies and cover BHRT therapies for both men and women, nutritional supplements, lab testing and hormone deficiencies. Attendees will also have access to various fellowship modules and board certification exams at this event. 

Following on September 26-27th in Chicago, A4M will hold its Immune Symposium  focused on immune, gastrointestinal and stress response systems, inflammation and immune associations, and laboratory tests associated with immune dysfunction. Speakers include Andrew Heyman, MD, University of Michigan Department of Family Medicine; Jon Kaiser, MD; Susan Blum, MD, MPH, preventive medicine and chronic disease specialist; Shilpa Saxena, MD; Kenneth Bock, MD; and Thomas Guillams, PhD.

New Orleans will host the IV Therapy Symposium on October 16-18 th. This symposium will focus on administering IV therapy protocols, lab testing, and the effects of IV therapy in functional medicine. Expert faculty includes functional medicine expert Guy DaSilva, MD, ABAARM who specializes in BHRT, cancer therapies, chelation and IV therapies; Paul S. Anderson, ND; and Mitchell Ghen, DO, PhD.

On November 6-8th, A4M will host its first ever Canadian event, the Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy Symposium in Vancouver. This complete A-Z hormone symposium will include case studies on hormonal deficiencies related to sexual dysfunction, nutrition and the brain, advances in laboratory testing, and hormones in relation to lifestyle. Speakers will include Tana Amen, BSN, RN; George Gillson, MD, PhD; Jack Monaco, MD; Pamela W. Smith, MD, MPH, MS; Dennis Wong, BSc, Pharm, FAARFM, CCN, ABAAHP, who specializes in customized compounding and Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy; and Brenda Yuzdepski, BSc, Pharm, and FAARFM, published author and former PCCA pharmacist of the year.

Rounding out 2014 is the 22nd Annual World Congress on Anti-Aging Medicine taking place in Las Vegas on December 11-13 th. This is A4M’s largest event, featuring over 60 expert speakers presenting unparalleled, cutting-edge education to over 3,000 medical practitioners; both international and domestic. The event offers information on the latest technologies, protocols, interactive case studies and lecture presentations to better patient care and practice integration. This event will also offer various fellowship modules, specialty workshops, and a vendor showcase, featuring over 300 companies.  Back this year, by popular demand, is David Katz, MD to deliver the keynote presentation.  Dr. Katz is the founding director of the Prevention Research Center at Yale University and was recently named President of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine.
