Today's episode of Redefining Medicine spotlights Jacquelyn Meinhardt, FNP-BC: a board certified family nurse practitioner. With a Bachelor's of Science from Villanova University and a Master's of Science in Health Studies as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) from Georgetown University, Jacki has extensive experience working with patients with chronic disease such as hypertension, diabetes and metabolic disease associated with neuroendocrine dysfunction. Jacki's focus at the Virginia Center for Health and Wellness includes Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome, vector borne illnesses, chronic fatigue, chronic pain, thyroid and adrenal management, detoxification and auto-immune diseases. Jacki's research interests include neuro-inflammation and biotoxin exposure, the stress response and neuroendocrinology, hormone regulation and vector borne illnesses.
