Today's episode of Redefining Medicine features Lizzie Harbin: Chief Culture Officer at Professional Compounding Centers of America (PCCA), and empowering survivor of Lyme Disease. After being diagnosed with Lyme, and additionally contracting severe mold toxicity through her diet, Harbin experienced a deeply debilitating depression. Through embarking on "the gift of the optimal health journey," which included several different aspects of empowerment—including yoga therapy, UVLRX light therapy, mindfulness, and prayer—Harbin now works to promote customized medicine, and inspires others with her story. Rather than simply "putting bandaids on symptoms," Harbin advocates for healthcare that is deeply personalized, holistic, and patient-focused.
