Dr. Susan Murrmann is an obstetrician-gynecologist in Germantown, Tennessee and is affiliated with multiple hospitals in the area, including Baptist Memorial Hospital for Women and Baptist Memorial Hospital-Memphis. She received her medical degree from Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University and has been in practice for more than 20 years. In 1996, Dr. Susan G. Murrmann co-founded the all-female McDonald Murrmann Women’s Clinic believing that no one else could better understand or help deal with women’s issues better than women. Since that time, Dr. Murrmann has expanded on that concept and reinvented women’s healthcare to include all aspects of women’s health—physically, mentally, and aesthetically. She believes that all stages of women’s lives are intertwined and coined the phrase “women who like what they see in the mirror eventually take better care of themselves on the inside”. Dr. Murrmann opened the McDonald Murrmann Center for Skin, Laser and Healthy Aging with Sarah Carpenter Ognibene in 2003 with the hopes of creating the right balance in women’s lives. Since that time Dr. Murrmann and both clinics have expanded with new physicians, services and centers of excellence for women’s health to meet the needs of women and help empower them to be the best they can be.
