Dr. Sievers is a member of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, the American Association of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, and the California State Oriental Medical Association.
Dr. Sievers was initially drawn to the holistic nature of Traditional Chinese Medicine. In this medicine, she found the intimate connection between mind and body and the development of human potential, health, and longevity. After studying western psychoneuroimmunology and the mind-body connection with the majority of human illnesses, Dr. Sievers focused on a more intense study of the complex biochemical nature of thought and emotion and their impact on nervous, endocrine, and immune system interactions. By blending a Doctorate specialty in Healthy Aging and Longevity at Yo San University and a Diplomat of Anti-Aging Medicine at the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, Dr. Sievers was able to integrate eastern medicine’s holistic and western medicine’s biochemical paradigms of health and longevity.
Dr. Sievers’ vision is to provide an integrated system of medicine that addresses the foundation of health and moves patients closer to fulfilling their human potential. By capitalizing on the strengths of both eastern and western medicine, Dr. Sievers is committed to helping her patients cultivate balance and maintain optimal health through all stages of life.
