Oleg Georgiev, MD, MS, FAARFM, ABAARM

   Dr. Georgiev was born in Bulgaria (Europe). He finished medical school in his native country where he practiced medicine. His love for freedom made him defect from communist Bulgaria in 1984. He spent 11 months in a refugee camp in Austria and arrived in Canada in 1985. Five years later he moved to the USA.

   He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Methodist Hospital in Memphis, TN and Nephrology fellowship and Critical Care fellowship at the University of Columbia, MO. He became board certified in Internal Medicine in 1994 and in Nephrology in 1996.

   Dr. Georgiev is board certified in Anti-Aging Medicine and he is part of a select group of physicians that has completed a fellowship in Anti-Aging, Regenerative, and Functional Medicine. He is an active member of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine and the Institute of Functional Medicine. He has a Master's Degree in Metabolic and Nutritional Medicine from the University of South Florida School of Medicine.

   Dr. Georgiev has long had a true passion for disease prevention and patient education. He is committed to excellence in comprehensive health care and is dedicated to helping his patients work towards healthy lifestyles and optimal well-being. His philosophy involves understanding each patient’s needs by utilizing an unique set of diagnostic and therapeutic skills. He devotes all his attention to early detection, prevention, and maintaining true health in all individuals he sees.

   As of 2012, Dr. Georgiev is the only physician in South Dakota who is Board Certified and Fellowship Trained in Anti-Aging, Regenerative, Functional, Metabolic and Nutritional Medicine.

   As of 2013, Dr. Georgiev is the only physician in South Dakota who has a Master's Degree in Metabolic and Nutritional Medicine.
