Her husband lost his battle in 2016 and Dr. Newport carries on his legacy through speaking and writing. Her fourth book "Clearly Keto for Healthy Brain Aging and Alzheimer's Prevention" focuses on a whole-food ketogenic Mediterranean-style diet, including coconut and MCT oil, and other lifestyle modifications to help maintain brain health and prevent Alzheimer's and other dementias. The third edition of her first book was released in September 2023, "Alzheimer's Disease: What If There Was a Cure? The Story of Ketones". Her other books include, "The Coconut Oil and Low Carb Solution for Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, an d Other Diseases", and "The Complete Book of Ketones: A Practical Guide to Ketogenic Diets and Ketone Supplements".
