I am a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner. My spark for starting Sol was influenced by the growing need for alternative therapies to combat health concerns. With a background of over 7 years in emergency medicine, I see first hand how the lack of attention to our health can lead to chronic and sometimes life threatening disease. I spent the last two years working all over the country at some of the hardest hit hospitals during the height of the pandemic. There were many 12 hours shifts spent with minimal breaks, sad phone calls to families, and heart wrenching decisions due to poor hospital resources. The art of medicine began to feel more and more distant to me and I was searching for a different way to make an impact on peoples health and feel passionate again. In August 2020 I completed a Masters of Nursing Science at Azusa Pacific University in California. I was one of 3 in my class to receive a grant to complete a 1 year residency at Vista Community Clinic in San Diego. I learned from various specialties including Women’s Health, pediatrics, geriatric and family medicine. While I love working with underserved populations, I still felt the draw towards aesthetics and alternative therapies that help with cell regeneration.
My goal at Sol Medical is to help you feel your best, live long, be confident, and shine.
