Description

Dr. Lyda Tymiak Lindell is a fellowship trainer Functional Medicine Specialist. Dr. Lindell provides consultations for age management and genetic nutrition and supplementation. She is Board Certified in Anti Aging and Regenerative Medicine from the American Academy of Anti-Aging medicine (A4M) along with a certification from the NutriGenetic Research Institute.

Dr. Lindell received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Boston University in 1972 and M.D. degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 1976. She completed an internship in Internal Medicine and Residency in Ophthalmology at the University of South Florida Medical School followed by Board Certification in Ophthalmology. She completed a Fellowship in Functional and Metabolic Medicine from A4M and USF Medical School in 2017. She received certification from the NutriGenetic Institute in January, 2020.

Dr. Lindell founded Gulfcoast Eye Care in 1980 specializing in cataract and implant surgery in 1980. Timeless MD Spa opened in 2003 specializing in non surgical facial rejuvenation. She transitioned from the solo practice of Ophthalmology to Age Management Medicine in 2005. She retired from the practice of Ophthalmology in 2013.

Past teaching appointments include Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at USF Medical School, National Education Faculty for Allergan and faculty for Syneron Laser Workshops. She has appeared on numerous TV shows including "Daytime TV" and "MDTV Medical News Now". She was a facilitator for the SIBF Leadership Academy held at the College of  William and Mary. She was a speaker at the 2017 SIBF Women's Retreat in Charleston.

Dr. Lindell resides in Tampa with her husband Carl Lindell. She is an independent distributor for Bemer USA. She serves on the Board of Trustees of the Community Foundation of Tampa Bay and the Dean's Advisory Board of USF College of Arts and Sciences. She is a member of Women in Leadership and Philanthropy at USF and Philanthropic Women of St. Joe's Hospital. Professional memberships include The American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine and The Ukrainian Medical Association, the Society of International Business Fellows (SIBF) and the Economic Club of Tampa.

Dr. Lindell has 2 children and 5 grandchildren. Her hobbies include biking, tennis, art, golf, travel and photography both underr and above water.
