Luis Fandos, MD

With over 25 years of experience, Dr. Luis Fandos is a highly respected physician specializing in interventional pain management. Originally from Rosario, Argentina, he relocated to the United States in 1993, completed his residency at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, followed by an interventional pain management fellowship at St. Luke's Roosevelt Hospital, Columbia University, and a fellowship in neuropathic pain at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City. Dr. Fandos serves as a physician leader at New York Spine and Pain Physicians in Bay Shore, NY, and directs the Division of Pain Medicine at South Shore University Hospital. He was recently appointed Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell, and trains resident physicians and speaks at conferences across the U.S. and internationally. Always seeking innovative ways to support his patients, Dr. Fandos expanded into cellular medicine. Utilizing genetic testing, peptide therapy, IV treatments, hormone replacement therapy, and targeted nutritional supplementation, he crafts individualized wellness plans that address disease at the cellular level understanding that cellular medicine is the basis for understanding aging and any disease process.
