Louisa Nicola, MMed, PhD(c) is a clinical neurophysiologist, Alzheimer's-prevention researcher, and the founder of Neuro Athletics, a consulting firm that translates cutting-edge neuroscience into actionable strategies for cognitive performance and brain-disease prevention. A former world-class triathlete who represented Australia before a cycling accident redirected her into medicine, she trained at the University of Sydney Medical School with a specialization in neurophysiology and is currently completing her doctorate at the University of Washington, focused on Alzheimer's disease. Drawing on data from EEG, lab testing, and cognitive assessments, she advises elite NBA, MLB, and NFL athletes, as well as leading executives and Wall Street investors, on optimizing brain health and performance.
