I am an AANP board certified nurse practitioner practicing Anti-Aging/Integrative medicine with Flowers Medical Group in Columbus Georgia.
I started my nursing career 21 years ago after graduating with my BSN from Auburn University. I worked full time in various fields within the hospital and outpatient settings and enjoyed caring for others. In 2014, I made the decision to earn my master’s degree and become a Family Nurse Practitioner. My Nurse practitioner career started in Pediatrics and Primary Care until I was given the amazing opportunity to work with Flowers Medical Group. I have always had a passion for nutrition and preventative health. Therefore, I knew that functional medicine, with a holistic, root cause approach was a perfect fit for me.
At Flowers Medical Group, we offer bioidentical hormone replacement therapy and provide plans specific for each patient to help them reach their health goals. We also offer IV therapy with a robust multivitamin and glutathione infusion to help with inflammation, recovery from illness or injury, and replenish nutrients.
My primary goal as a clinician is to help patients balance hormones and achieve optimal nutrition by food and/or supplementation of key nutrients. I have a passion for helping others to feel their best, improve energy, and manage stress which is key to preventing disease onset or progression. Finding the root cause of a symptom or disease process is crucial to determining the best plan of care for each individual patient. A4M has provided me the education and background to support my patients and promote wellness within my community.
