I am a physician-executive who builds systems where clinical excellence, regulatory rigor, operational execution, and technology strategy reinforce one another to drive measurable impact at scale.
I currently serve as Chief Medical Officer for Biote (NASDAQ: BTMD), focused on advancing hormonal health and longevity through clinician partnerships, patient engagement, and industry partners. I have the privilege of advancing a mission centered on helping people age healthier and live happier through precision, preventive, hormonal, and functional medicine. By empowering clinicians with education, evidence, and tools to identify and address the earliest indicators of aging and hormonal imbalance, we have an opportunity to redefine how healthcare supports long-term vitality, healthspan, and quality of life.
Prior to that role, I served as the inaugural Chief Quality Officer for NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi/North Central Bronx, a two-campus enterprise including a Level I trauma center and community hospital serving a catchment are of approximately 1M patients. I led enterprise-wide transformation in a highly matrixed environment - spanning an operating certificate merger, enterprise EHR implementation, care-model redesign, and expansion of multiple service lines.
Nationally, I’ve served as an advisor to the U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services through the AHRQ National Advisory Council (2022-25), served as an Inaugural National Academy of Medicine Diagnostic Excellence Scholar, and a member of the The Joint Commission’s CMO/Chief Physician Council as well as the Clinical Advisory for the Society for Women's Health Research. I’m a Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, with ongoing work in digital health, diagnostics, patient safety, and workforce development.
