Dr. Tan graduated from the National University of Singapore in 2001. He then went on to develop and train as a Men's Health Physician. He currently serves as an advisor on several platforms including on the Education Committee of Singapore Association for the Study of Obesity and is a member of the Executive Committee of the Society for Men’s Health, Singapore. He is also a member of the Singapore HIV PrEP Guidance Advisory Group and Singapore Sexual Health Workgroup. He is also an Advisor on Harm Reduction to the Asian Association of Neuropsychopharmacology and is on the Expert Advisory Committee of the Asia Pacific Tobacco Harm Reduction Advocates. His membership of international societies include the Society for Men's Health Singapore and the International Society of Sexual Medicine. Dr. Tan is a published author in several international peer reviewed journals and is a reviewer for the Harm Reduction Journal. Dr. Tan currently is in private practice at Novena Medical Center.
