Dr. Kathy Gaumer, MD

Dr. Kathy Gaumer is a board-certified OB-GYN with over 35 years of experience, specializing in hormone balance, functional wellness and longevity health, as well as aesthetic medicine. As the Medical Director founder of Regain Functional Medicine + Aesthetics in Kansas City, she leads a dedicated team delivering personalized care in hormone therapy, sexual wellness treatments, medical weight loss, peptides and advanced aesthetic procedures.  She has offices in both the Kansas City Metro as well as Lawrence, Ks home of Kansas University.  Home of the Jayhawks!

Her passion for longevity health and whole-body wellness has earned her national recognition, including being named a 2024 American Heart Association Kansas City Leader of Impact for her work advancing equitable cardiovascular health. 

Beyond the clinic, Dr. Gaumer is a fierce advocate for survivors of domestic violence. She has proudly served on the board of Newhouse, Kansas City’s oldest domestic violence shelter, and has helped raise critical funds and awareness as honorary co-chair of the Imagine a Day Gala.  

Her 2 children now work in the business with her.  Her daughter, Lex is the COO and son, Austin the CFO which has proven to be an amazingly successful team as the business continues to grow with a 3rd office opening in 2027.
