Pioneer of Anti-aging Medicine in Japan
Jun Matsuyama MD, PhD graduated from Kyorin University School of Medicine and completed his graduate work at the Keio University School of Medicine. Dr. Matsuyama served as a research associate at the Keio University School of Medicine, and later as a lecturer at Keio University School of Nursing. He was one of the first few Japanese physicians to attend the A4M in 1998, and was the first to hold an anti-ageing symposium (Anti-ageing International Symposium & Exposition in Tokyo) in Japan with the support of A4M, Dr. Robert Goldman, and Dr. Ronald Klatz in 2006. A4M was invited to Japan for the second time by Dr. Matsuyama in 2008 for a conference co-hosted by Japan Society of Aesthetic Surgery and Korea Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.
Dr. Matsuyama currently serves as the President of Japan Hair Growth Medical Association, Japan Association of Medical Spa, and the Dean of International College of Advanced Integrate Medicine.
