JP Errico, MS

JP Errico is a scientist, inventor, entrepreneur, and founder of numerous healthcare companies. An aeronautical engineer with degrees from MIT and Duke, and a law degree from the latter as well, JP is one of the most prolific inventors in the field of healthcare, with more than 250 U.S. patents to his name. His technological breakthroughs have led to more than $30 billion in sales. For the past two decades, JP has been primarily focused on neuroimmunology, and he is a pioneering co-inventor of non-invasive vagus nerve stimulation technologies currently FDA-cleared for multiple indications, and being deployed by the U.S. military for cognitive enhancement. Currently, JP is a Senior Research Scientist with the Florida Institute for Human and Machine Cognition, and is serving as a Principal Investigator for a DARPA research program in the field of sleep. He is collaborating with an international collection of leading scientists to uncover ways to prevent neurodevelopmental disorders from Autism and ADHD, to Schizophrenia and Bi-polar Disorder. He is the author of The Vagus-Immune Connection, and has contributed to numerous textbooks on neuromodulation.
