Joseph Purita, MD is currently medical director of PUR-FORM by The Institute (www.purformhealth.com) at FAU Research Park in Boca Raton, Florida. PUR-FORM is a first-class, comprehensive facility for state-of-the-art regenerative medicine and anti-aging techniques, therapies and overall health optimization. A pioneer in the use of Regenerative Cell and PRP therapy for orthopedic conditions, Dr. Purita graduated from Georgetown University Medical School and served his surgical internship at the University of Florida Medical Center.
He is board certified in orthopedics by ABOS. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a Fellow of the American Academy Orthopedic Surgeons, and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pain Management. He is also certified in Age Management Medicine. He has lectured and taught extensively throughout the world on the use of regenerative cells and platelet rich plasma for musculoskeletal conditions and the EBO2 (Extracorporeal Blood Ozonation and Oxygenation) protocol. These lectures have been in many different settings and have been for CME credit both in the US and abroad. He is a recipient of the AAOSCP’s Stem Cell Scientist Award, and is published in both the United States and Abroad.
