Joel Clarfield, MD
Dr. Clarfield received his medical school training at the University of Toronto and residency training in Los Angeles, in general surgery for 1 year and he then completed his Internal Medicine reisdency having worked in family practice as well.
Dr. Clarfield is on staff at Providence Holy Cross Medical Center. Additional skills include: Weight management program, office minor surgery, Addiction medicine, Buprenorphine certified, local injections and PRP, Aesthetic medicine, Age management and Sleep medicine.
He is Medical Director of an Assitant living facility, and a Home Health Company as well as the San Fernando Valley Substance Abuse program.
Dr. Clarfield has always believed in treating the whole patient, and promoting wellness. Preventive medicine and psychological comanagement are in his view, paramount. In the psychological, counseling and aesthetic aspects, he is supported by his wife Dr. Tina Clarfield R.N., PhD.
