Jamie Gabel (PA-C) is a nationally board-certified Physician Assistant and the Clinical Director for Advitam, at the Shafer Clinic in New York City. He did his undergraduate studies in Athletic Training receiving a Bachelors of Science degree from Hofstra University. As an Athletic Trainer he worked in the NFL with the New York Jets, then spent 13 years working in professional tennis for the United States Tennis Association. He worked his way on to the ATP Tennis Tour travelling with top-ranked tennis professionals. Jamie returned to his studies attending Toro University receiving a Masters Degree in Physician Assistant Studies. He began his PA career in Orthopedic Surgery at NY Orthopedics, working alongside world renowned orthopedic surgeon Dr. Stephen Nicholas. Jamie was fascinated with regenerative medicine procedures like PRP and BMAC, and so he began aggressive post graduate training in metabolic, regenerative and longevity medicine. In 2020 he co-founded Advitam, a subspecialty longevity and regenerative medicine practice in New York City. He continues to engage in advanced studies and is passionately committed to life-long learning.
