Hugh Bailey, MD, FAARM, ABAARM

   Hugh W. Bailey M.D. graduated from Meharry Medical College and has been practicing medicine since 1981. His residency was performed at Orlando Regional Medical Center, and he obtained his fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at The Univ. of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, FL, and The Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, GA. He also served as the Director of the Maternal FetalMedicine Division at Providence Hospital in Washington, DC, before relocating his family to Huntsville, AL. Dr. Bailey has served the Huntsville area, and surrounding communities since 1992, and this gifted physician is well known as the first physician formally trained in high risk obstetrics, to establish a practice in North Alabama. His pioneering efforts made the transport of women with complicated pregnancies, from the outlying areas in North Alabama to Huntsville Hospital, a reality.

   Dr. Bailey has many certifications includes: Pelvic Reconstruction, Urogynecology, Endovenous Laser Therapy, Advanced Cosmetic Gynecology, and Liposuction. He is a diplomate (Board Certified) in OBGYN, a fellow of The American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and a diplomat of Anti-Aging, Functional and Regenerative Medicine. Dr Bailey’s thoughtful, holistic, and integrative approach to management of women’s issues, is superb, and puts his patients at ease. He lives with his wife, Zetta, has 3 adult children, and one grandchild. He enjoys singing, playing the piano, and spending time with his family.
