Dr. Henry Truong, PharmD, ABAAHP, MHSA
Dr. Henry Truong is the founder of Mariner Advanced Pharmacy (www.marinerpharmacy.com) and Universal Compounding Pharmacy (www.ucrxspecialty.com), both 503A pharmacies serving Northern and Southern California, respectively. A Fellow since 2014, he has also earned Diplomate Practitioner status (ABAAHP).
With over 20 years of experience, Dr. Truong is a registered pharmacist and advanced practice pharmacist in State of California. He earned his undergraduate degree in Neurophysiology from the University of California, Davis, followed by a Doctorate in Pharmacy from MCPHS Boston, and a Master’s in Health Care Administration from CSU East Bay, Hayward, CA.
Recognized nationally by his peers, Dr. Truong is known for his passion and dedication to the art of compounding. He holds multiple trademarks for compounding tools that have provided innovative solutions to pharmacists across the country. Beyond his clinical work with community and hospitalized patients, he has served as a consultant and co-investigator on numerous university- and NIH-funded research projects. His expertise focuses on quality and compliance, advanced formulations, and optimizing compounding workflows.
