Gopesh Patel, RPh

Gopesh Patel, R.Ph is the compounding pharmacist-in-charge and owner at New Drug Loft in Manhattan, and VLS Pharmacy in Brooklyn. Gopesh focuses on providing high quality prescriptions and compounded medications, as well as overseeing the state-of-the-art sterile compounding facilities at VLS Pharmacy.

Gopesh is a member of the Alliance for Pharmacy Compounding, Professional Compounding Centers of America, A4M and ACAM and is on the advisory board for PCCA. Gopesh lectures at PCCA seminars, and is a Preceptor for pharmacy students from Long Island University College of Pharmacy, Touro College of Pharmacy and the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences University in Boston.

He frequently contributes to trade publications including Pharmacy Times and was named PCCA’s 2020 Pharmacist of the Year. Gopesh frequently gives his time within the communities of Brooklyn and the Upper East Side to educate young people about the fun he has being a pharmacist.
